National Philosophy of Education

Education in Malaysia is an on-going effort towards developing the potential of individuals in a holistic and integrated manner, so as to produce individuals who are intellectually, spiritually, emotionally and physically balanced and harmonious based on a firm belief in and devotion to God. Such an effort is designed to produce Malaysian citizens who are knowledgeable and competent, who possess high moral standards and who are responsible and capable of achieving a high level of personal well being as well as being able to contribute to the harmony and betterment of the family, society and the nation at large.

Now have time...

At last I have a little moment that I can spend and share something in this blog again. Some photos at least... these photos were captured during the implementation of the new invention of mine in the teaching of English language. I am not going to give full description on it until I can see success. The main objective is to help students who are unable to make correct simple sentences in English. Most of my students have problems in constructing simple sentences in English due to lack of vocabulary and lack of knowledge in grammar rules.

Hi farish, it has been awhile.I have asked to be transfered to Dungun early this year and I was sent to SMK Durian Mas, a remote rubber plantation area at Bandar Al-aMuktafi Billah Shah. Here I face huge difficulties handling the students as they are truly weak in English. The first few week was a nightmare. Plus their disgusting attitudes (not all). I realised that these students have problems in their very bAsic in English. I have once asked the form 3 students "Class, how are you?" and they responded "Today is Tuesday". I'm having tough times here, but life must go on...right..

Helluuu.. sis.. long time no see..Oh.. now in Trengganu, better for you to be there I guess... It seems we have the similar problems with our students, but my students are little bit okay since they can project correct response for "class how are you"...

My blog is always open for our friends to drop by and discuss our problems or experiences in school... Don't worry sis, if my invention is a success, I will share it with you too...

Sometimes we may get sort of fed up feelings but I always calm myself by saying students' weaknesses are our opportunity...

Good for you. You guys used to laugh when I told you the experience I had teaching in Trengganu. Same old, same old. Class, how are you today? TODAY IS SUNDAY!!! Now you know the truth and what I said was not a lie. Anyway, at least you get to teach students who ARE humans. I suspect my students may be what Mr Zain termed as 'hantu syaitan'. We all have heard of students scratching the cars of the teachers they dislike. In my school, even the clerk's car gets scratched. It was scratched just for the sake of scratching. The students in my school aren't naughty, they are evil. So, with that, I wish a Happy Belated Teacher's Day.

To abgmanggis,

Do reflection as Mr.Zain taught us.
Every school got its own story. Thats why he keep in touch to share & exchange ideas & stories.
Hopefully most our friends who are 'BUSY' always can share their experiences.

Students will be students, it us who have to do our responsibilities.

Happy Holidays.
